Delaware City is a place rich with history. It was founded in the early 1800’s in anticipation of the construction of the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal. Step back in history and stroll the streets to admire some of the architecture, or take the Three Forts Ferry to visit Fort Delaware, Fort Mott or Fort DuPont.
