WWB September Leadership and Networking Event with Guest Speaker Maria Hess
As the summer winds down, Wilmington Women in Business (WWB) is gearing up to start another year with dynamic speakers, remarkable women to network and grow with, and an overall feeling of connecting! Please join WWB in welcoming Maria Hess, Editor -in-Chief of Delaware Today Magazine as she discusses her leadership style, and how her networking skills attributed to her rise as Editor-in-Chief.
Hess, the magazine’s senior editor since 2005, has earned several awards for writing and editing from the Delaware Press Association and the National Federation of Press Women. During her tenure as senior editor, Hess created The Arts Buzz, a weekly blog currently featured on the magazine’s Website, delawaretoday.com. Hess currently manages a partnership between the magazine and WHYY, a PBS station based in Philadelphia and Delaware, and serves as a regular guest on its newsmagazine, “First.”

Cost: Member – $35.00 | Guest – $45.00
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with registration and networking. At 6:00 p.m. we will serve dinner and kick off our event with our speaker.
