The Delaware Farm Adventure Trail Summer 2012
Have you ever wondered where the fresh Delaware fruit and vegetables come from that you buy at roadside stands on your way to the beach? Are you interested in learning how a real Delaware farm runs? Maybe you are just looking for something different to do with the kids this summer? Now there is a family fun way you can learn about Delaware’ proud agricultural heritage!
The Farm Adventure Trail will showcase Delaware’s premier working farms that provide authentic farm experiences from June through August this year. The trail includes fifteen unique working farms across the state – from peach and nectarine orchards, to diverse floral producers to dairies and more.
The official launch for the Delaware Farm Adventure Trail is set for Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at TS Smith & Sons Farm in Bridgeville, Delaware.
