The Delaware Division of Corporations seeks a vendor to develop an Integrated Corporation Information System (ICIS) . This request for proposals (“RFP”) is issued pursuant to 29 Del. C. § § 6981 and 6982.

Did they not already do this? Didn’t they decide to go with a generic program with modifications? What happened?
Good question Alan. Everything was supposed to be all set and ready to roll, and next thing you know the project is a year behind. We may never know what really happened here. What is known for sure is that the State broke their ties with the previous vendor and re-issued the RFP in hopes of finding the right partner for this project. I suspect that the Division of Corporations wants to move away from an “off the shelf” program and instead maintain their position as being the leader within their industry; uniform platform via the web- yes; generic program- not on your life.
