NOMINATIONS WANTED FOR THE 2009 HALL OF FAME OF DELAWARE WOMEN

Do you know a Delaware woman who has made distinguished contributions toward improving the lives of others?

The Delaware Commission for Women (DCW) is now accepting nominations for the 28th Annual Hall of Fame of Delaware Women. Since it was founded, 102 women have been inducted into the Hall of Fame of Delaware Women, representing a variety of fields including government, medicine, business, education, law, advocacy, and volunteerism.

Eligibility requirements:

Nominees must have made a significant impact upon the lives of others.

Their contributions to society or to women�s history should have lasting significance.

Distinguished selfless achievements also may be the basis for recognition.

Nominees must be native-born Delawareans or have resided in the state for at least ten years. If the nominee is deceased, the same requirements apply; add date of death after date of birth on the form below.
