Delaware Tech Announces July Enrichment Courses – Corporate and Community Programs (CCP) offered at Delaware Tech’s Terry Campus

Corporate and Community Programs (CCP) at Delaware Tech’s Terry Campus encompass a broad range of affordable and convenient personal development and enrichment training, lifelong learning opportunities, and customized and workforce training courses that meet specific business and community needs. These courses are non-credit offerings.

Basic Defensive Driving: Offered Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Earn a guaranteed 10 percent reduction on the liability portion of your automobile insurance premium for three years. Participants will also have a 3-point credit applied toward their Delaware driving record via the Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles. Intro to Microsoft Word & Excel 2010: Interested in learning new computer skills or enhancing your current ones? Join us for Intro to Microsoft Word Saturdays, 9 a.m.-noon from July 6 – 20. Follow up with Excel Intermediate 2010 Wednesdays, 6 – 9 p.m., Aug. 7 – 21. Sign up for both and pay one low price of $335. Individual classes are $185 each. Residential Renewable Energy Basics: Do you want to learn how to save money on your energy bills by Going Green? Attend our three-hour seminar to learn tips and tricks that can increase your energy efficiency. Learn the basics of renewable energy sources most commonly used in a residential setting: wind, solar, and geothermal. The seminar is Wednesday, July 31 from 6 – 9 p.m.; cost is $49.
