Delaware Children’s Museum and Nemours Event Shines Spotlight on National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

The Delaware Children’s Museum and Nemours are offering “100 Healthy Habits” programming this weekend. The event will Focus on Physical Activity, Nutrition and Oral Health in observance of National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. As families explore the museum, they will encounter stations designed to teach and promote healthy habits. Kids can try kickboxing and yoga, and learn about the importance of good oral hygiene.

Event highlights include:

  • Yoga poses and breathing/kickboxing for kids
  • An interactive presentation from the Oral Health Association

    The Delaware Children’s Museum is open 362 days a year, seven days a week, 9am-4:30pm. General admission is $12 per person (children under 12 months are free).
