Delaware’s Congressional delegation to visit The Delaware Small Business Person of Year

Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons with Rep. John Carney, will visit Christy Crkvenac, Fulcrum Pharmacy and Radius Rx Direct owner, on Monday, July 25. Crkvenac is Delaware’s Small Business Person of the Year and was selected by President Obama as a 2011 Champion of Change.

“All across the country, Americans like Christy are doing amazing things to out-innovate, out-educate and out-build the rest of the world,”

    said SBA Regional Administrator A. John Shoraka.

“It’s wonderful to see her being recognized by SBA as Delaware’s Small Business Person Of The Year and one of the President’s Champions of Change.” “Christy’s innovativeness and leadership are an example for small business owners everywhere,”

    said Jayne Armstrong, SBA Delaware district office director.

Fulcrum Pharmacy and Radius Rx Direct are long term care pharmacies meeting the unique requirements of agencies serving special needs persons in Delaware and surrounding states: individuals with mental or behavioral health issues, physical disabilities, substance abuse challenges or in correctional facilities. Founded in 2003 with 6 employees, the firm employs 29 people.
