2nd Annual Economic Forecast Lunch

It looks like 2009 will be one of the most challenging years for business owners in recent history. Economic conditions are changing every day. Major financial institutions have recieved massive investments by the Federal government and our big three auto makers are getting a large assistance package. Meanwhile, the Congress and the new Obama Administation are getting ready to enact a $750 billion stimulus package.

The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce wants to help you answer these questions by inviting you to attend their second annual Economic Forecast Lunch on February 5th at the University and Whist Club in Wilmington. This is your chance to join many other Chamber members and business leaders to learn more about future economic conditions in our state, region and nation.

The Chamber’s Economic Development Council will host its 2nd Annual Economic Forecast lunch presentation that will recap the economic activities of 2008 and discuss the potential outlook for the County’s economy in the upcoming year. The lunch will feature a presentation from one of Delaware’s leading economic experts, Dr. John Stapleford of Moody’s Economy.com. There will also be a panel of local business experts on hand to discuss Dr. Stapleford’s comments and their own views of future economic trends here in New Castle County.
