Renowned Economist Dr. Arthur Laffer to Speak in Delaware

Art Laffer, a key member of the Reagan Economic Policy Advisory Board, will be the special guest speaker at the second annual CRI dinner next week. The dinner will be held at the du Barry Room in the Hotel du Pont, and is intended to celebrate the birthday of Caesar Rodney, the man whose vote in 1776 helped ensure independence for our country.

Dr. Laffer created an economic revolution when he explained the relationship with taxation rates and taxes collected. The seeming paradox – that lowering tax rates creates higher tax yield – was explained by his now famous “Laffer Curve”. He is a frequent columnist in the Wall Street Journal and other publications and this is a great chance to hear his message about returning to financial sanity.

His recent book “Return to Prosperity, How American Can Regain Its Superpower Economic Status” provides a roadmap for getting America’s financial house back in order and on track to return to greatness. Signed copies of this best seller will be available.

Art Laffer is an entertaining and much sought after speaker, so be sure to reserve your tickets today!
