Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

Just because a lot of commerce may not happen today, doesn’t mean we all can’t get down to business…

January 21st is observed as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. This federal holiday is observed annually on the third Monday in January to honor the legacy of Dr. King, a civil rights leader who advocated for justice, peace, and righteousness.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service is part of United We Serve, a Presidential initiative that calls all Americans to work together to serve their neighbors and communities.
