Delaware’s 25th Annual Amish Country Bike Tour

Delaware’s longest-running and largest bike tour event will kick off from Legislative Mall in Dover, Delaware on Saturday, September 10, 2011. Last year, 1,400 cyclists from a 14-state region participated in the event!

The bike tour, suited for all ages and abilities, includes 15, 25, 50, 62 and 100-mile loops through the flatlands of Delaware’s Amish farmlands. Rest stops include the famous Amish Schoolhouse where members of the Amish community serve locally-baked pies and oatmeal raisin cookies.Several additional food stops will be included, featuring healthy snacks, sandwiches and beverages.

  1. Now through August 26:$35/adults; $15 ages 5-16; under 5, free; and
  2. August 26 – September 10:$50/adults; $20 ages 5-16; under 5, free.
  3. Club Rate:When 10 or more cyclists pre-register by August 27, cost is $30 per cyclist.
  4. T-shirts may be ordered online in advance, $15 (slightly more for larger sizes).
