Delaware holiday closings for Dec. 31st, 2010

  • Government offices: Closed.

    • WILMINGTON

  • The City of Wilmington government offices will be closed today; as a result, there will be no collection. Trash/recycling collection schedules are mailed to all city property owners at the beginning of each year. The schedule is also available throughout the year at the city’s website at www.WilmingtonDE.gov or by calling the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services, 576-2489, and requesting a copy.

    DART Transportation — DART First State:

  • New Year’s Eve — Today: DART statewide services, both fixed route and paratransit, will operate on a Saturday schedule. SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line train service will operate its Saturday schedule.
  • New Year’s Day — Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011: DART statewide services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate. SEPTA will operate on a Sunday schedule.
