About Delaware Economic Summit

The annual Delaware Economic Summit creates an exciting and engaging space for the business community to gather and discuss issues vital to the continued financial success of individuals, local business, and the state’s economy. The summit is based on the core belief that the strength of the Delaware business community relies on relationships built over the years on a foundation of trust and shared knowledge, a foundation that must constantly be maintained to stay strong.

Delaware is a small state, yes. But size has its advantages, and the advantage we all share in Delaware is that our state is essentially a knowable place.

We know our state laws and the lawmakers who craft them. We know civic leaders and can discuss the issues of the day with them over coffee. And we certainly know the people we do businesses with, year in and year out.

This summit is devoted to strengthening our common ties as Delaware businesses, by bringing people together to share what they know, presenting new ideas and challenging old ones, and increasing our knowledge beyond what any one of us can learn alone.
