Connolly Bove Opens Newark Office – Firm expands footprint in Delaware
Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP is pleased to announce the firm has opened an office at 267 East Main Street in Newark, Del.
Business Law Group attorneys Max Walton and Josiah Wolcott are now based in the Newark office, and will focus on the following law practice areas: Government Representation (State, County & City) and Commercial/Construction Litigation. Other legal services include; Business Planning, Corporate Law, Commercial Real Estate, Intellectual Property, Estates & Trusts, Employment and Family Law.

Max B. Walton is a litigation partner in the firm’s Business Law Group and has significant lead counsel experience in matters involving commercial, constitutional, land use, construction, election, and insurance coverage matters in Delaware State courts. He acts as outside counsel for numerous State, County, and municipal governments and agencies. Max is a frequent lecturer for the University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration, and gives seminars on various topics including land use law, constitutional law, election law, agency procedure, and takings. Max serves as the chair of the Government Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
Josiah (“Joe”) R. Wolcott is an Associate in the firm’s Business Law Group. Joe represents clients in a variety of areas including corporate litigation, commercial litigation and municipal law. Joe’s areas of concentration include contract disputes, construction law, commercial leases, land use, landlord tenant law, and corporate law. Joe also represents numerous local and state municipalities in both a litigation and general counsel capacity. Joe represents clients at every level of court within the State as well as in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Joe has achieved success though both alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”) and trial.
