The Latin American Community Center Provides Tax Filing Assistence
Wilmington, Delaware – February 2009
Tax Filing Assistance is available Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1 to 8 p.m., from February 3 to April 15, 2009. The location is Los Jardines Community Room, 1005 W. 5th Street, Wilmington. Enter through the back door of Los Jardines. There is no charge for the service. Thank you to dedicated volunteers Ed Stevenson and Fredricka Lonberg-Holm of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, established by the IRS. Mr. Stevenson will assist those filing hard copy returns from 1 to 5 p.m., and his associate will help those wishing to file electronically from 5 to 8 p.m. Volunteer tax preparers may not be bilingual, so limited English speaking individuals should bring a friend or family member to act as an interpreter.
