Circuit City is Done

Dow Jones Reports:
Circuit City Stores Inc., the nation’s second-biggest consumer electronics retailer, reached an agreement with liquidators on Friday to sell the merchandise in its 567 U.S. stores after failing to find a buyer or a refinancing deal.

Expect “GOING OUT OF BUSINESS” Sales soon. This is creative destruction at work folks. Personally, I never found a great deal at Circuit City and always felt like they were trying to sell me what I did not need. I guess most of us felt similarly.

    There definitely was always something about Circuit City that just basically kept me away. It may have been that the store itself felt gloomy and slow. When I walk in to a Best Buy I feel like its wide open and more inviting… Could just be me, but no surprise here at all.
