Delaware Division of Corporations Publishes 2007 Annual Report

Secretary of State Harriet Smith Windsor, and the Delaware Division of Corporations have published their 2007 annual report:

    The bottom line? Continued, significant growth. Some highlights of the report include:
    New Business Formations Are On The Rise
    New entity formations totaled 161,782 in 2007. That’s up from 145,320 in 2006.

    UCC Transactions Are Up
    The Division handled a record 380,000 Uniform Commercial Code
    (UCC) transactions (filings and searches) in 2007. That’s a 10 percent
    increase from 2006.

    Increased Revenue
    Total revenue contributed to the Delaware General Fund was 700.8 million. Incorporations revenue accounted for 22 percent
    of the State’s general fund in fiscal year 2007.

    Looks like business in The State of Delaware is good.
