The partners of Delaware’s Gellert Scali Busenkell & Brown, LLC announced the opening of their boutique commercial law firm focusing on restructuring, business transactions, real estate and commercial litigation.
Founding Partner Mike Busenkell said,

Noting that the firm is equipped to serve clients in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland, Founding Partner Mike Scali commented that, “Our business strategy is centered around value: our goals are to serve our clients cost-effectively, and to meet their time sensitive needs. We will practice both as lead counsel and co-counsel on Delaware matters, as well as conflicts counsel and special counsel when that need arises.”
The GSB&B partners bring together a wealth of experience, including cases in federal court. Founding Partner Charles Brown also noted that,

Ronald Gellert is an experienced commercial attorney with a particular specialty in debtor/creditor matters, including the large chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, out of court restructurings and receiverships, locally and nationally. Prior to private practice he served as a law clerk in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. Named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers-Rising Stars and Legal 500.
Michael J. Scali concentrates his practice in the areas of banking law, commercial transactions, and entity law, with significant experience in commercial lending, commercial real estate, entity formation and governance, asset and stock purchases and sales, and contract law. He is AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale Hubbell, earning the highest rating available for legal ability and ethics by both attorney peers and clients. Michael Busenkell concentrates his practice in the areas of chapter 11 business reorganizations, workouts and out-of-court restructurings, creditors’ rights, and receiverships. A board certified business bankruptcy attorney and certified management accountant, he once served as Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Florida, where he served as a criminal prosecutor. Charles Brown concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, real estate, business law, commercial litigation and commercial collections. He previously served as a law clerk in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and an Intern in the Vermont Supreme Court, and is an adjunct instructor at Wilmington University in its business college. Recognized for Outstanding Service to the District Court of Maryland as an ADR Volunteer in 2008 and 2010.
