Business Networking International seeks members

Business Networking International (BNI) is the largest business networking organization in the world. They offer members the opportunity to share ideas, contacts and most importantly, business referrals.
Christopher Rowe is currently in the process of developing a chapter of BNI that meets in the Elkton area once per week. They currently have about 12 members and are looking to grow. Any small business owner, sales person, entrepreneur etc. who would like to expand into the Cecil County market is welcome to attend a meeting.

Meeting time: 11:30 – 1:00 pm
Day: Thursday
Place: Patriot’s Glen Club House

Website: www.bni.com

BNI consists of one person from each profession so there is no overlap. We have a structured meeting and time frame to ensure maximum efficiency. Members pass referrals, business connections and contact information to each other. All activity is tracked to ensure full participation and maximum value to members.

If you would like more information, contact us and we will put you in touch with Christopher.

There is also a group forming under the new merchants association for the entire Delmarva peninsula. It allows online business networking so members can gain introductions to business people throughout the region. The site is completely free to use. See for more details. You do have to register for the site in order to use it, but you can post a link to your web site, establish connections with other members, download business files (legal) that protect your business and publish articles about your industry. I am a volunteer with the organization and it seems to be taking off. It is privately funded so members can use it freely.
